We partner with Local Authorities, Local Employability Partnerships (LEPs) and Scottish Government to fund training and service for employers. Our aim is to ensure that together we achieve, real, sustainable and significant improvements in workplaces.
Raising standards in inclusive employment

We know that employers want to do the right thing, want to contribute to their Corporate Social Responsibility commitments, and are open to hiring disabled people if they have the support and skills to do so.  We also know that , currently many employers are missing out on skilled workers with significant contributions to make as they are not hiring disabled people.

Accessing learning and information can be complicated and difficult to navigate. The only way to guarantee that Scotland has a more diverse workforce is to tackle these issues head-on, to work with employers and to understand what we all face in making our workplaces more inclusive.

Our approach is inclusive, supportive and collaborative

To support you in achieving No One Left Behind outcomes for employability, reaching under-represented groups who are furthest from the labour market, and lowering economic inactivity in your local authority, we work directly with employers in your area to help them understand the benefits of recruiting from a wider pool of potential employees.

We also work with anchor institutions in your area, either working intensively with departments identified by you, or delivering Key Worker training to service providers.
