The Scottish Union of Supported Employment (SUSE) is the national representative body for Supported Employment providers and anyone interested in ensuring that disabled people and those with long term health conditions have the opportunity to access quality jobs with support to achieve success.
We bring organisations and people together to campaign, network and improve the quality and impact of Supported Employment and employability services.
We aim to drive meaningful change in the sector by:
SUSE has 55 member organisations who employ c600 employability practitioners, delivering services to 6000 disabled jobseekers annually and working with 5000 employers. We are an organisation that is led by our members who play a pivotal role in setting our priorities and strategy.
SUSE is committed to bringing organisations together to improve the prospects of disabled people who want to enter employment and support employers who want to create fair and equitable workplaces. Apt is an opportunity to change the conversation and build the capacity of employers to attract, recruit and support talented disabled people who can contribute to their business. We support the ambition to halve the Disability Employment Gap by 2038 and recognise that the PSP can have a pivotal role in making progress towards this target.
