As part of SUSE’s 30th anniversary, we launched Apt 30 to recognise the leading inclusive employers in Scotland.

These organisations have continually demonstrated their commitment to being inclusive employers.

They have shown enthusiasm for learning and development –  improving their recruitment processes to encourage more disabled applicants, as well as supporting their current staff to develop in their roles and sustain employment.

Employers are asked to agree to 5 Key Principles
  1. Strive towards recruitment practices that are inclusive and accessible.
  2. Give disabled employees the in-work support they need to succeed and thrive.
  3. Ensure that your disabled employees have access to the same career development opportunities as their non-disabled peers.
  4. Agree with SUSE’s vision – that all disabled people should have access to quality assured Supported Employment to help them find and retain paid work.
  5. Engage with the Supported Employment Works campaign and your local service providers.
